While one of us was in the (wild wild) west making her first DJ debut (DJ Tanner FTW) and the other one was in the Southern Europe trying to watch the S&S Show from SKY1 via the site that was livestreaming, there was only 1 place we had our minds on:
O2 Arena, LONDON baby!!! Madonna and her crew made the thousands of fans go crazy once again! As expected Holiday, Dress You Up and Frozen were the new songs in the set list! Madonna also paid tribute to Michael Jackson.
Madonna said: “I chose ‘Billie Jean’ (to perform at the O2) because it’s instantly recognizable. Kento, my dancer, was obsessed with Michael all his life. And when Michael was having auditions for his tour, Kento really wanted to go but he’d already made a commitment to me. So now he’s about to have his moment and be Michael at my show.”
(am I the only one getting goosebumps watching this?)
Madonna had a couple of costume changes, a new jacket in the opening Pimp section, a red mini skirt that replaced the red shorts in the Old School section, gloves added in the Gypsy section and a slightly new hair do.
In addition, NEW Tour Programs are released (new cover, some new pictures inside, new setlist+venues)
First time happening: Monte Pittman said that he actually broke a string during “Spanish Lesson”! Being the rock god that he is, he covered it nicely :)
