Re-Invention Tour

Re Invention TourOne year after the release of American Life, Madonna decided to hit the road again to further support the album. The Re-Invention Tour spanned from May 24 to September 14, 2004 and visited North America and Europe. The tour was chronicled in the Jonas Akerlund film, “I’m Going to Tell You a Secret,” which was released on DVD along with a live CD featuring several (but not all) of the songs from the tour. Despite the lack of commercial release of a full-length official DVD, this tour is often touted as Madonna’s best by many of her hardcore, longtime fans. Although the American Life album failed to match some of the commercial successes of her past albums, the tour was the top grossing tour of 2004 and sold out every show but… one!
