Sticky & Sweet Tour

Madonna’s Sticky & Sweet Tour was the big winner at the sixth annual Billboard Touring Awards, taking home honors for Top Tour and Top Draw, which acknowledge the highest-grossing and highest-attended tours of the year, respectively. Madonna’s manager Guy Oseary won the Top Manager award.

The Billboard Touring Awards are based on worldwide data reported to Billboard Boxscore for the period Oct. 1, 2008, through Sept. 30, 2009.

It’s time for Lambert!

Glam meets Rock! In other words, Adam Lambert will take over the stage with Monte Pittman and the rest of the band to perform live at the American Music Awards on November 22nd at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles!

But that’s not only it! On November 25th, Adam is the guest on “Good morning America” and later on at the “David Letterman Show” in New York where he will perform live as well!

Adam’s album “For Your Entertainment” is dropping on November 23rd and is already in the list of the most pre-ordered albums! You can take a first taste with his first single, also called “For Your Entertainment” on i Tunes!

Monte Pittman’s first solo album “The Deepest Dark” will be available on cdbaby.com on November 17th 2009, which is in about 2 weeks from now! The album has 11 songs with a total length of approximately 47 minutes. All the songs are acoustic and will definitely speak to your heart! There are only a few musicians like Monte who don’t stick to only one genre of music and are so versatile. From Pop Queen Madonna, to the mighty metal band Prong, whilst experimenting with the glam rock “Citizen Vein” which brought Adam Lambert to the surface and also participating in other artists’s songs (Nicki Richards‘ “I have loved you always”, Jes’s “Disconnect” and Melanie C’s “Home”), there is only one Rock God who can do it all!

Sticky & Sweet Tour DVD not ready for release yet!

Madonna’s manager, Guy Oseary, after receiving many questions from fans concerning the Sticky & Sweet Tour DVD, tweeted earlier today that the DVD/CD will NOT be ready on December and that they’re still working on it!

The DVD has been broadcasted on TV in Europe and the USA, but apparently the Madonna camp has heard the fans who requested for the new songs of the 2009 leg of the tour to be added on the DVD as well!

“Holiday”, “Dress you Up” and “Frozen” were all recorded in the final shows in Tel Aviv for future release!

Sticky & Sweet Tour to broadcast in the US!

It’s finally the time for the US Madonna fans to watch the “Sticky & Sweet Tour” on their TVs this Friday October 30th!! Check out the info:

The announcement was confirmed by the multiplatform entertainment service today. The Material Girl’s latest song and dance extravaganza was seen by over 3.5 million Madonna fans in 32 countries around the globe over the last two years. The show that airs on EPIX was filmed in Buenos Aires’ River Plate Stadium, where she performed for 256,000 fans over four shows in two days.

In the premiere league of song-and-dance spectaculars, the queen of pop remains unrivaled and undefeated,” glowed the Times when “Sticky & Sweet” debuted in London. The tour began in conjunction with the release of the multi Grammy winner’s “Hard Candy” album, which debuted at No. 1 in 37 countries. Her latest CD “Celebration”– the definitive Greatest Hits collection – has just been released.

“An unstoppable force and the ultimate entertainer, Madonna gives an amazing performance,” said EPIX president Mark Greenberg. “She’s in a category of her own.”

Nicki Richards does Italian X-Factor!

Super talented and super busy Nicki Richards, spent a few days in Europe and more specifically in London where she appeared on Simon Cowell’s UK talent show, “The X-Factor”, doing backing vocals for Whitney Houston.

But that was not only it! Yesterday she also appeared in the Italian version of the talent show in Milan! Take a look at a couple of captures that Paolo took from last night’s show!
